INFO
According to the book by Toon Tellegen.
A co-production with Dutch National Opera, in collaboration with ENOA
The mole wants to do something for the moon. It is always alone in the sky and never receives visitors. He decides to write a song for the moon. But that’s harder than imagined. It must rhyme, the mole thinks, and walk. Or actually not walking, but dancing. A song rhymes and dances. Moon, stand, go, delusion, hit, tear … Moon, don’t leave me in the delusion … When he’s done, the mole goes with it to the grasshopper, who is the conductor of an orchestra. They rehearse until it’s all right and at night they give a wonderful concert. But why does the moon look so sad afterwards?
A song for the moon is performed in Dutch.
