They documented the process and the personal stories behind it during rehearsals, meetings and performances, as well as in people\u2019s homes. The result is a compelling documentary about the power of meeting, collaboration and connection.<br\/><br\/>Those directly involved were given an early screening of the documentary on 18 September at the Fotomuseum aan het Vrijthof. Now, the documentary is available for everyone to watch: Everything for the BOM! will be broadcast on L1, as part of Limburg Doc, on Thursday 29 October at 6.00 pm and 9.00 pm.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is BOM?<\/strong><br\/>Together with local residents, Opera Zuid is creating a community opera based on the lives and stories of people from Maastricht. A director, vocal coach, musical director and children&#8217;s rehearsal leader bring these personal stories together to create music theatre that puts the neighbourhood itself centre stage.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BOM brings people together: local residents, Opera Zuid and the wider community, as well as opera singers and young musicians from Conservatorium Maastricht.
