The Countess and Susanna want to punish him for his adulterous behavior and ensure that the countial couple is reunited in love. The page Cherubino, who has flirted with both Susanna and the Countess, is then sent into the army by the Count. On Figaro and Susanna&#8217;s wedding day, Susanna hands the Count a note: an invitation to a rendezvous. Yet she will not be the one he meets there, but the Countess dressed as Susanna.
