It is 1786. A new day begins in the house of the Count and Countess Almaviva. In every room there is whispering and flirting. The servants Figaro and Susanne are preparing for the most beautiful day of their lives: today they are getting married. The whole house is sweltering, tingling and buzzing with love. But it will not be easy: the Count has set his sights on Susanne. He must and will have her. He even invokes the old lordly right to spend the first wedding night with her. But Figaro is not easily discouraged. Nor is the Countess; she wants to teach her husband a lesson. Together with Susanna and the pubescent page Cherubino they hatch a plan to put the Count in his place. What follows is a crazy day full of misunderstandings, disguises, intrigues, affairs, confessions, joy, sorrow and love, love and more ….
