The wealthy Count Almaviva needs a break and sees a fleeting adventure in the young, good-looking and wealthy Rosina. The biggest obstacle is that she is under strict supervision of her guardian Doctor Bartolo, who wants to marry her for the money. Almaviva does everything in his power to court Rosina; he hires a group of musicians to serenade her. When this seems to fail, Figaro, the jack of all trades, is called in for help. Figaro will do anything for money. Together they devise a plan to win Rosina’s heart. The matter becomes even more complicated when she wants to run away with Lindoro, a disguised Almaviva. She sees in him the opportunity to be freed from her guardian and gain her freedom. After Doctor Bartolo’s patients undergo a makeover and the intrigue piles up, everything comes together in a hilarious finale.
